MEXICO… HOT, HOT, HOT

Just off the beaten path of Cabo San Lucas is a sleepy little town called  “Zacatitos”. It is hard to find, as you need to drive down a very dusty dirt road through the hot desert for about 45 minutes.  You would for sure think you took a wrong turn.  So much so, that the couple (which happen to be good friends of mine) we were shooting had to have us follow them in.  As they said “even with directions, you would think you were lost”. And we would have. The landscape doesn’t change much, littered with cactus and the occasional cow (or are they bulls?) in the middle of the road.

But when we got there, it was like a little patch of paradise. And it was hot. Really hot. Luckily, the beachfront villa where they were getting married overlooked the ocean, and with a short walk, you were on the beach. And what a fun group of people too! It was a beautiful and emotional day, and we were glad to be a part of it.

I was lucky enough to go along on this journey and shoot this incredible wedding with my good friend and fellow photographer, Chris Schmitt. He is a great photographer, and I have learned a tremendous amount from him. He is the one that made this slideshow as well.
